About SDC
Sophie Dee College of Performing Arts (SDC) is a specialist training environment based in Hazel Grove, Stockport, offering a fully funded two-year Level 3 BTEC in Performing Arts. With a focus on both dance and musical theatre, the course is designed to keep options open while developing versatile, well-rounded performers.
At the heart of SDC is a personalised approach. Small cohort sizes allow for individual attention, tailored pathways, and strong relationships between staff and students. Alongside high-quality practical training, wellbeing is fully embedded into the weekly timetable, supporting students not just as performers, but as people through our partnership with The Butterfly Mind.
